PNP Calculators: Provincial Nominee Points by Province

Each province ranks candidates its own way. Pick your province to work out your score from its official grid, then compare it with that province's latest draws.

Choose your province

The latest result on each card comes from the same draw data as that province's page, and updates whenever a new draw is added.

A score that met a past minimum doesn't guarantee an invitation. Most provinces also select by occupation, sector, pathway or connection to the province, and don't always publish every draw parameter. Each province's page explains its own rules.

Provincial nomination and Express Entry

A nomination through an Express Entry-linked provincial stream adds 600 points to your CRS score. Provincial Nominee Program draws in 2026 invited candidates with 697 to 805 CRS points, which already include the 600 (latest: 772 on 13 Oct 2026). See every round on the Express Entry draws page, or check your score with and without a nomination in the CRS calculator.

Nominations from streams that aren't linked to Express Entry don't add CRS points. They lead to a separate permanent residence application with IRCC.

Ontario graduates

Ontario closed its former streams in June 2026, including the International Student stream. Read what replaced the OINP International Student stream, or work out your score in the OINP score calculator.

How these calculators are checked

Every provincial calculator uses the province's own published grid or stream rules, and each one is checked with worked test cases before the site is built. Sources and test details are on the methodology page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there one PNP points calculator for every province?

No. There's no shared Provincial Nominee Program score. Each province publishes its own grid, with a different maximum - 100 in Alberta, 200 in British Columbia, 1,000 in Manitoba and 132 in Ontario - and Nova Scotia publishes no points grid at all. Use the calculator for the province you're applying to.

How many CRS points does a provincial nomination add?

A nomination through an Express Entry-linked provincial stream adds 600 points to your CRS score. In 2026, Provincial Nominee Program draws invited candidates with 697 to 805 CRS points, which already include the 600. A nomination from a stream that isn't linked to Express Entry leads to a separate permanent residence application instead.

Can I use my provincial score in Express Entry?

No. A provincial score only ranks you in that province's own pool. Your Express Entry CRS score is separate, and only a nomination itself changes it.

Which province is easiest to get a nomination from?

There's no honest single answer. Each province selects for its own needs, often by occupation, sector or connection to the province, and most draws only invite certain groups. Compare your score with the draws that match your situation on each province's page.

Why is there no Nova Scotia score?

Nova Scotia doesn't publish a points system. It selects candidates from its Expression of Interest pool based on its priorities. Our Nova Scotia page checks your situation against the published stream requirements instead of guessing a score.
